AC3 Directshow decoder
Ever had the annoying message "You may need to install a Directshow decoder for this audio format, in order to hear the soundtrack of this DVD" when trying to play a film on XP or Vista? I had these ages ago, sorted it out with a free codec, but since then I have re-installed Vista after all my hard disk firmware issues and finding it on the net was a real pain.
So I decided just to pop it on here, like the firmware update for the hard disk just to save people the trouble of sifting around, should allow you to actually play your DVDs properly without the sound being missing!
